If you're a Postdoctoral Scholar with a 0.75 FTE or greater appointment in the 9205 Postdoctoral Fellow or 9206 Postdoctoral Research Associate categories, you're entitled to 15 days of vacation per year. This vacation time doesn't accrue and is renewed on your anniversary date of hire. You also accumulate sick time at a rate of 8 hours per month, up to a maximum of 1040 hours, until the end of your employment. Neither vacation nor sick leave is eligible for payout when you leave the job.
Departments must keep track of vacation and sick time internally.
