Types of Events

The UPDA holds professional development, social, and other advocacy events to support and promote postdoc engagement at the university.

For professional development events, we organize faculty/staff panelists to discuss the processes of academic and industry job hirings, interviews and negotiations, as well as website design, CV/Resume workshops, etc.  

For social events, we organize hikes, picnics, BBQs, snowshoeing, brewery visits, etc., depending on the season.

UPDA coffee hour series
Monday, October 27th, 10-11 am, Location: Huntsman Cancer Institute
UPDA coffee hour series is back! Our goal is to meet you all in person, foster connections across campus, and have a relaxing, therapeutic, and fun-filled coffee hour. If you want a break from your lab duties, do stop by! Hope to see you soon at HCI! Please check out the attached flier and RSVP to get free Einstein Bagels and Coffee!
